**** SIGN UP HERE (sign up and all racing is free) Welcome to the SimRacingOnline Summer series FIA GT1 2010 Championship All cars are NON-DLC and free to download. Copy / paste the 6 files inside to your rFactor2 Package folder and install the 6 cars inside the rF2 game in "Packages". **************************************************************** This series is based on the FIA GT1 2010 Championship. We will be running the official tracks of the 2010 season in the same order: 1. Silverstone 2. Brno 3. Spa Francorshamps (Studio 397 DLC) 4. Algarve 5. Sao Paulo All the cars of the FIA GT1 2010 season are represented in this summer series and all cars have the official FIA GT1 2010 skins. (you are free to use custom skins) Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 Corvette C6R GT1 Lamborghini RSV GT1 Maserati MC12 GT1 Matech Ford GT1 Nissan R35 GT1 We also use the same official points scoring system as the 2010 season. **************************************************************** Formation lap procedure How does each race start? 1. The race starts by a formation lap and rolling start (that's why the race time is 62 minutes). 2. From the second to last corner we go double file 3. the pole-sitter holds a speed of ca. 120 km/h from that moment on. 4. The race starts for everybody when the pole-sitter crosses the start line. **************************************************************** No-shows (keeping the entry list real) If a driver does not show without unregistering for that event or letting us know that he can't make it on the event forum, he will be removed from the series. If he is no longer interested in the series, it's fine like it is. If he forgot about the event, he can sign up for the series again. (You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the event you can't do.) **************************************************************** No Esc. on track rule in Qualification In qualification, you can not press Escape (Esc.) while on track (if you crash) and then go back out again. If you want to do another run, you have to come into the pits first. This is to protect the other drivers from someone taking abnormal risks to set a good lap time and crashing (other cars). **************************************************************** Pitstop Window For the record: Please note that you will be disqualified from the race if you fail to pit inside the pitstop window, which is between 35 and 25 minutes to go. There is no margin. You will get a DQ even if you are 1 second early or late. This is just like it was in the real series which we are simulating. **************************************************************** Teamspeak Teamspeak is one of the features of Sim Racing Online. If you would like to hook up with other drivers on Teamspeak before the race (or any time), here is the forum link for the SRO Teamspeak address and password: https://www.simracingonline.co.uk/threads/teamspeak-ip-address-password.19/ For those who are not familiar with Teamspeak, you need to add the Sim Racing Online channel to your "bookmarks".
Is there any way to get this mod and play it offline? My internet is very unpredictable and I don’t have a schedule where I can commit to being online at a certain time consistently. Maybe I can just get the cars and create my own offline series…?

Back in my GTR2 days, there were .gdb files that could be modified to create new racing series. Does rF2 have some kind of files that can be modded to create a new championship series?
Check 4 and 7 here. An rfmod is an "event" that ties cars and tracks together, they're what show up as series in the game. @brettt777 thanks to redapg below, let me put the link in: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/beginners-guide-faq.74960/ I should limit my phone-posting...
