Given the rise in popularity of electric go karts, I would like to test exchanging the engine in the kart cup karts for a electric motor.
Is there any gide line how to model an electric motor? And how to correctly exchange the engine for the motor.

I’m new in everything car physics related but willing to read and instruct my self in documentation if needed and do my own testing… just need the correct pointer to the resources.

    thank you

@FERNANDO CABRERA I fear that there still is no Documentation.
Years ago, when we (SMMG) started to make the Palatov D2 (Workshop), that has an e-Engine, i got some Info from Michael Borda, that helped a lot to create one.
But i can not find that Info anymore.
Some Things are mentioned in the newer Physics Spreadsheet, if i remember it right.
If you start a Try and get stuck somewhere, you can contact me.
    Maybe i can help.

Hi redapg, definitely going to check out the Palatov thank you, with luck the model is not encrypted and can analyze how was everything defined and start messing with the physics spreadsheet.

    It's definitely NOT encrypted. :)
As said, it's made by SMMG, which includes me too.

    Thanks looks great!!!
Someday I'll make my own model, but been an engineer I like more number crunching, physics and data points than 3D modeling.
