Hello, i just noticed the incidents points lost on track limits were a lot higher when track was wet. In practice (100% dry) off tracks can cause a loss of 0.25 points. Same off tracks on wet (15-40% wet) can cause 2.25 points at once !!! Is it normal ? Looks like there is a miscalculation on off track penalties if track was wet at some point and gets dryer after ... Any infos on that ?
Considering how the system work, I wouldn't be surprise if it gets an average from the last few lap... and inflict penalty point depending on 'pace'... which may throw off the system when the track dry up and get a lot faster... I also would like to know more about it... While it was a good 'first' implementation and a welcome addition to the game... it could use a 2.0 version. (We'll see if LMU gets it first... I guess) PS: Also the 'off-track system'... can't deal with freeze... I got a drive through penalty because someone got teleported behind me during a freeze on the server... it gave me the illegal pass penalty instantly.
The link to the pace is probably what explains the behaviour. Same issue with freezes, some players getting instant drive through while freezing ... Really annoying. And admins can't even see the penalties ... That must be solved.
