    Hi everyone!

    We have a new release candidate which has just dropped.
    The key points to note are as follows:

    • Large AI Updates in relation to throttle behaviour and reaction to other cars.
    • Updated in car Dashboard options including new icon option and improved shader
    • New Default HUD Skin
    • Various improvements around handling of cars that have Batteries, and how that data is displayed in car and on HUD.
    • Improved Config Application & handling of setting resolutions in game
    • Added new side on showroom and support for toggling showroom background for taking alpha cut out screenshots of cars
    • Various updates to modding support (Map Converter, Scene Viewer mostly)
    • Servers now verify that connected clients own the content they are using
    You can find the full main release changelog here: bit.ly/3KkRn0i
    We hope that you enjoy these changes, and please feel free to contact us through our support channels if you experience any difficulties.

    Cheers, John

    The biggest issue I've had with AI multiclass has always been that when they decide to pit, they stop attempting to overtake all but practically stationary cars, often leaving them tailgating a lower-class car down the Mulsanne and such.

    I'm not seeing this as a known issue, but I also haven't followed the updates very closely so maybe it's fixed already?

    Hi @Alex Sawczuk I would like to modify the HUD moving it as you see in the screenshot and for the resolution of my monitor 5120x1440. But as you see in the message center I can't. I would like to enter in the .mas file to change the value of the .ini:

    Screen_Rez_X = 1920
    Screen_Rez_Y = 1080

    to

    Screen_Rez_X = 5120
    Screen_Rez_Y = 1440

    But i can't either. When i click in the .mas file to enter it shows the messege "Unknow mas key"

    Any ideas?

    I wonder if there was contact in the pits that might have caused the AI to wander out there. Definitely needs to be looked at for confirmation!

    Glad you included the pit entry. I'm betting the car was lost even before it stopped.

    yes the car entered pits normal and stopped for a few seconds and after that just took the path to exit pits but it didnt turned to left and went straigth to track
    i have all the replay file 29 megabytes ican sent it anyone want it
    also the AI in long beach did a lot of aggresive driving ignoring me sometimes and hitting instead of awareness of other cars
    i m sure the developes will invastigate it

    A selection of images below from watching the AI slipstream and pass at various tracks, as mentioned elsewhere I left the RF2 scene for a couple of years due to AI going unloved and my patience had simply worn out.

    Now today seeing this in action, 10+ years after first reporting the issue, I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am. Yes it should've been sorted ages ago, but there's no point dwelling on what could've been, it's time to embrace this now and look forward.

    The recent AI changes and the ones in this RC have pushed RF2 back towards being the King of AI it once was.
    Thank You Devs, Thank You S397 :)

    (P.S. I'm yet to race them myself, only observed AI vs AI thus far, hope I've not spoken too soon :D)
