I haven't used RR for over a year.
Then I became aware of these lines in the latest Changlog:
Force Feedback - Introducing dynamic linearity, which allows us to adjust the forces for each individual vehicle via the steering geometry and power steering.
This makes all vehicles feel more grounded and solid, especially at low speeds. This update removes the need for the previous FFB linearity slider,
which was removed with the update. The changes help to get the best out of each wheel type.
However, some weaker wheels may require a slightly higher 'Minimum Force' setting as the linearity setting has been removed.
Users who have previously worked with a linearity of over 85% should not need to change anything. However, at 80% and below, it is recommended to
increase the minimum force by 1% or 2%.

I reinstalled it and tested the Gr5.
And friends, KW Studios now has an FFB that I feel at home and comfortable with.
I understand what the vehicle is doing when and to every situation.
The best thing is, just like in rF2 I don't have to play around with the FFB for a long time, no, a few fine tunigs and it runs.
Well, the 1:40:760 on Sonoma is not a best time, there are still 8 tenths missing, but I am overjoyed that RR finally has a FFB again that I can understand.
A dream these cars and this track!
It's great to see RR on the straight again!
You can download the setup in the description.

When I tried it a few months back I noticed the game does not support proper g sync options. Result: no consistent smooth graphics. Has this issue been resolved or is there currently a workaround? I believe when I tried to set max fps, this did not work (fps still were higher than my monitor could bear). Also read in the community that this is seen as an issue with the game.

My "other" sim has been RR for the past months and really enjoy It. So when I am not In rF2, It´s RR. It´s a great place to get you´re feet wet as a beginner with online PVP racing.

Today I'm in RaceRoom on the beautiful new track "Circuit de Charade" located in France and the track is beautifully implemented.
The visuals and the road surface are simply a feast for the eyes and a pleasure to drive.
I'm driving the M1 Procar here and honestly, friends?
If you blindfolded me now and said, hey, you're not driving in rfactor 2 but in RaceRoom, I wouldn't notice the difference.
And that's the biggest compliment KW Studios can get!
Since the last FFB update, RR is finally back where it should be.
    And better than before!
As of today, you have the opportunity to check from 18.6 to 25.06 whether I'm just talking PR shit or whether I'm right after all.
You have 1 week to test the complete content of RaceRoom for free!
I have made my setup available for download in the description below this video.
Let's see what my time is worth. Yes, you should feel challenged by me now.
    What are you waiting for?

Thanks for pointing out the free content. I did some testing, but so far the look and feel doesnt come close to rf2 unfortunately. FFB is grainy compared to rf2. I really want to like it. Maybe take some more time to tweak stuff. What are your FFB settings in game? If you have a simucube wheel, I am also interested in your wheel settings...

This 2 Base's are very similiar.

    RR FFB is default.
    Just 'Bump Amplification' + 5%

I don´t have a DD wheel, but I did notice a difference In this recent update. I have the FFB multiplier set to 1,5. You can bind the FFB graph, and the FFB multiplier In you´re settings. Comes very handy and you can see If you´re clipping, all done on the fly while driving.

Bought the Premium pack yesterday via VRP´s, having a blast! The new BMW M4 GT3 Is quite nice, also enjoying the rest of the content

    Very underrated sim IMO.

    Yeah absolutley!
They have very good classic content like the Group4/5 or the GTO or Touring Car classics.
And you have to push the clutch by shifting and the cars needs Heel and Toe.

    Interesting...

"Some" sim developers/publishers should take note on the Insight Jean has for the future of R3R. Nice to see them looking forward.

The Porsche 994 Turbo Cup Car!
An all-round perfect car for inclined SimRacers who want to optimize their driving style, or quite the right car for beginners.
    Why?
We have a 5-speed H-shift and no electronic driving aids.
With more than 1300 KG with a full tank, certainly not a lightweight, with just 250 hp.
The perfect timing, braking and acceleration technique is required here in order to maneuver the vehicle exactly to the apex and exit of the curve.
If you master this, you have found the optimum cornering speed in the middle of the corner.
The massive turbo lag below 5000 RPM has to be optimally avoided by braking and accelerating maneuvers, since it is a cup vehicle, the gears cannot be adjusted.
In addition, braking and accelerating must be done carefully and precisely.
The massive steering angle of 1080° requires a lot of work from the driver, but not too much, since too much steering angle means additional friction on the tires and thus automatic loss of time.
Anyone who understands the concept of this vehicle will love it.
Because it tries to teach everything that is needed to become a faster driver or a better driver.
I love this car and the concept behind it.
A great decision by KW Studios to provide us with this car in RaceRoom.
The current FFB update has also done very well for RRRE.
I can clearly feel the vehicle's weight transfer and feel connected to the vehicle's tires on the track. At any time!
I really hope that more SimRacers will pay attention to this great sim and this great car.
Because the developers have done a really damn good job here!
