I don't know if the organization has added a chicane to the Daytona track, or if the track was wet during qualifying. If not, congratulations are due, at 95 % AI strength in a 20 min race the AI driven Oreca lapped more than 5s faster than the real car in qualifying. Cheers.
The LMP2 have been slowed down in IMSA to let some space to GTP. Furthermore, in IMSA rule for the LMP2, this is the bronze driver of the car who has to drive during the qualifyings PS : I created by own BOP by adding 170kgs to the Oreca (through car-upgrade). Now at 100% strength, the AI run 1,38''-1'39" in Daytona that is more in line with 2023
could be cool if it was possible to choose IMSA/Le mans BOP. But would that work for driver only or AI too?
When an upgrade is forced on a given circuit , driver and AI use the same config. Anyway, with the arrival of GTP I guess they will be obliged to tune the BOP of the LMP2 officially.
