It seems to me with this latest update, that the sounds have changed. The levels seem off from previous build (RC) and I can barely hear opponent cars and they are quite muffled. I also needed to increase master volume quite a bit. I checked my audio settings (Windows & in-game) and all are correct. I also tried changing speaker config and Headphones profile (rf2) with no improvement. Replay audio seems to be unchanged.
Only the entire pack sometime later in the year, once they release the Honda in Q1-23. No point in combining it now that it is in single car release.. For those looking at that Whole 2022 package, take a look at the Christmas Sale, lots of items 50% off.
The in-game Store looks great and a seemingly nice addition. However, I'll be purchasing future DLC directly through Steam, as you don't need to restart after installation.
There's a Steam setting that will allow the game to install new purchased content without restarting.
Yes @Mark Lloyd if you enable downloads while in game in steam, you won't need to restart: Source: https://www.studio-397.com/2022/10/released-in-game-rfactor-2-store/
Hey guys, quick question. Do we finally get filters to only use the btcc skins without the fake ones?
Is this useful? https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/btcc-2022-update-and-bop.73320/#post-1115624
Whenever S397 releases a new car/series I can only drive those because everything else is not as sofisticated. When I dl'ed the BTCC cars I couldn't go back to the GTE's. And when the GTE's got updated back then, I couldn't go back to the GT3's. The jumps in quality were quite big the past few years. And everytime it leaves me only having a hand full of cars to drive, even though the sim has hundreds of em... A pretty unique situation, that is. (and that is an absolute personal observation)
Just had a 684mb update to RF2 on steam just now, but theres nothing here to say it was official so maybe it was a mod update, is there a wy to find out what got updated?
Best way I've found is go to the steam workshop folder and sort by modified date... (maybe there's a way in steam, or in the steam log files too)
If it was an Update of any Content Item, it should be installed when you start the Game, so you can see what it was. In this Case it was Porsche Cup GT4 2020. But if the Game itself was updated, you can just hope, that you get some Info somewhere.
On the downloads page, when it updates, there's an icon with a question mark. Right-click and you'll get a menu with the item "Show updates" or something alike. It works when it's workshop content that has been updated, not for the game itself or the DLC. You can go to the same information through your Steam profile page.
