    Ask S397 :p.
on serious note this is a 2021 version DTM , we will need atleast 2020 spec dtm cars to have similar performance WITHOUT BoP..as that doesn't exist for DTM.

on another serious note, can we get official DTM cars , from whatever era ? would love to have proper series of it like BTCC.

DTM only for previous years or historic, if you want to simulate this years DTM you just pick some GT3 cars and there you have your DTM 2022 :p

unfortunate reality, i like gt3 cars but i certainly wouldn't want every other series to be turned into a gt3 series.
loved the original dtm so much, sexy looking cars

    From memory
Goto the ..\rFactor 2\steamapps\workshop\content\365960\917387157 folder and copy the Silverstone?????.rfcmp file.

So no more races at Silverstone for CS or other official events. Which would affect any official BTCC championship or "eSport".

Also as someone pointed out, MSGM would need a license to release their BTCC game.

Somehow I don't think that the BRDC cares if Silverstone is in rF2 (or any other game) or not.

So it seems to me, the only option is to pay them the license fee for both the official BTCC game and rF2 and create a laser scanned DLC version for both games.

And hopefully, if they do that, they include older historic layouts too (even if they can't be laser scanned).

copy the file inside folder and paste it somewhere in your hard drive in another folder lets say rfactor 2 tracks
after the track removed from workshop in steam you can indtall the track from pakages folder in rfactor 2 installation like you install any other mod

Again to be clear however, if you don't unsubscribe to the item, you won't lose it

If I build a new PC in the future and install rF2 in it will Silverstone download along with other workshop items? Or do I need to copy it from my old PC?

Yes, you need to copy it to the packages folder and install it inside the simulation...

In short: as it's not in the workshop it won't install automatically, you need to do it manually ;)

As I understand it, it will only be removed from the Workshop for users that weren't subscribed before Nov 25th or that unsubscribe after that day. So it should install in your new PC. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But, it's a good idea to make a backup copy in case you hit unsubscribe accidentally.

Wrong, the item will not install automatically, as it'll be removed from Workshop. You won't lose the file if you didn't unsubscribe after the 25th...

That's correct, as we've set the workshop item up to allow people who remain subbed to keep the item
