Just checked, still cloudy, if you do get the chance to fix this I would still be very grateful.

Here is a screen shot from a video I made before the problem started, it is a little hazy but it's in the evening so it's meant to be:

This is from today time is 1:00pm and its sunny excuse the fact that its the whole tripples image:

And this is at night, you cans see that the dashboard is clear but the windscreen wiper is cloudy, in fact everything through the glass. This started after some shader updates to RF2 as far as I can remember.

I think I first posted here about the issue soon after it first happened.

If you need anything more, let me know.

Yes, this happens with official contents as well. From memory, the Ligier LMP2 has this issue too and, even when it is transparent, in some cars, I believe, it blocks the tail lights being visible (can't tell when they are on or off).

Interesting, I had not realised that it affected other content. I am certain though that it was after a shader update, so hopefully that will give a clue.

No, for some reason I remember that this happened after an s397 update and I am sure that there were shader updates at that time. I assumed this to be the cause. But you know what they say assumption.....

Anyway, if you can help, I would greatly appreciate it as I need my Le Mans fix in some classic machinery. P.s, how about a Cobra Coupe or a GT40......Just dreaming.

I don't want sound like a Smartass, but i would do this: Depending on, if the inside Windscreen uses a WC Material or not, check the Alpha Channel(s) of the basic or all Window related Texture(s) in the Teams mas/Folder, that are used for it and set it to something like R,G,B 1,1,1 (almost full black), to get rid of the milky Look.
And for the Problem with "invisible" rear Lights of the other Cars, if both Materials (rear Lights and inner Windscreen) use Alpha blending Transparency, check their Alpha Sort Values (5-8), and give the rear Lights Material a more dominant Alpha Sort Value.

Just had a quick look and the lights are visible through the glass. I did not check to see if the brake lights were visible as I just watched some cars leaving the pits, don't have any time right now.

That looks much better. If you do an update, will it also update the CMS series cars?

No, that is put together by SGS who got our permission to include the cars.

Oh, would there be some files that I could manually transfer or do I need to ask them to do an update as I like using the mix of cars that we used with the CMS mod.
