Is there a documentation about the many aero packs of the Oreca 07? We know which is better for Le Mans, but what about Monza, Sebring, Spa and so on? It's all about trying or is there a sort of guide?
how many aero packs oreca has ? iirc its only 2 right ? i think aero packs changes gear ratio too, so that is another indicator if it works or not.
I think it has 4-5 options. (From memory) Le mans No dive planes Upper dive planes Lower dive planes All dive planes Some options also changes gear ratio but you can change that in setup afterwards. If any one have some input on which option is suited for different types of tracks. Please share. I often hear that le mans option works for most.
Lemans package have different front wing (dive planes) and rear wing to get low drag, and a change in the gears ratio to get more than 320km/h. It's the faster, because you have a lot of downforce with this rear wing and very low drag. But if you're limited to high downforce package, there are differences in the front wing (dive planes). Here depends on track, so mainly all dive planes is good for a lot of tracks, you need from 2 to 4 rear wing normally in your setup. Lower dive planes you have a little bit less downforce in front than all dive planes, upper little bit less than lower and none less than upper. So ideally "none" is faster in Monza and you can go with minimum rear wing, but maybe you can get maximum top speed on lower or upper. Same setup you'll get more oversteer on None and more understeer on All dive planes. Not an easy answer
