April RC is almost good. I like this. But, since the recent update (April 28th), some screens no longer display the driver label. -Pit box monitor (large and small) -Replay Also, when using MultiView settings, the labels seem to be in the wrong aspect ratio. Please check it.
The driver labels did not fix after the 3rd May update. Also, Replay's speed and G sensor do not work. Please check it.
After yesterday's RC update, the driver label can be viewed on monitor and replay. It is good. But, this time it disappeared from the driver's point of view. (both Multiview on or off) Please check it.
Yeah, kinda weird, works in some cameras, but not others. I'm single screen pancake and lost the incar labels as well. They do show up in some external cams and replays as noted above.
I can confirm that triple screen driver label is bugged (pic from my friend), and this issue disappears if viewing from trackside camera:
Also noticed that THROUGH WINDSHIELD the labels are NOT SHOWING in the cockpit (driver's view), but through side window they are and they follow the assigned keyboard key to toggle on and off. Raced Stock car 2018Xs on superspeedway; seeing the vehicle label through driver's side "window" (there is no window) while driving outside "lane" in high-banked curve...
Just like Bill says, I can only turn them ON or Off via the garage screen after todays update. I'm using single screen, not triples. They are also affected by some sort of Alpha Sort problem on some cars where you can not see them through the glass. I think more likely car maker has a wrong Alpha Sort number for their glass and not problem with Name Tags. Just reporting if you find sometimes tags not working with some cars, this is why. I have to admit I don't use them much as they are far to big, too low and block my view. Wish there were some options to customize them.
I also can't toggle the driver labels, not too long ago it was working fine so it's a new bug. So thanks for the info on the garage (though it doesn't help in a FCY), I thought I can toggle them only in the json file.
I don't know if you solved this. For me, disabling "Post effects" bring the drivers name back in cockpit view. In all other views drivers name were visible with "Post effects" set to Ultra.
