Hello, I am working on a friend's Alienware aurora r6 computer with a Clean install of Win 10 home. His Steam login has RFactor2 (which he bought) and crashes during the install of updates. If I login to Steam with my account I can borrow his license and it launches just fine. If I switch between accounts the problem never goes away. I have verified files, re-installed and removed the local user files with no luck. I even cleared the internet settings according to a post. Could there be a block on his user account? Thanks for your input.
Can anyone on here check on a user status for logs/crash reports? Or do I need to try and call support? Thanks.
There are logs in the steam folder which may shed some light. Other than that I'd suggest describing more/differently what is going wrong - I find the above a bit unclear.
