    I have noticed that the 1986 tracks cause issues with some serverhosting as they are seen as a single track but with a different layout. i think if the tracks were seperated to different instances it would work better. as a result its impossible to boot most of them on moddev as they miss the track surface.

    In devmode, they work without problem as soon as you put the mas file directly in locations folder.
    Don't forget btw to ask permission before modding and diffuse the tracks if it's your intention... ;)

    For server hosting, anyone have the same issue?
    Didn't have time to test it deeply for now.
    Cheers

    my intention was to use them to log laptimes for the F1 1982 League Edition. as i can balance cars based on that. but when i would load a track like jacrepagua it would load no road and on österreichring it would load a mix of stuff from all the tracks

    Okay i figured it out. isolate each track to its own folder so MAS files dont overlap

    Hi, here are some pics of the first pass of my modifications of Brands hatch 1986.
    I have to mod the modern track to fit well with old buildings.
    So now, i try to change the modern buildings and replace them with crowds and stands as they where in 1986.
    If some pepole have some good pictures of 1986 track, i will be very pleased because i always find pictures focused on cars mainly. the trackside objects are generally not well visible in the pictures.
    Cheers

    Crowds in 1986 were... absurd!!!
    You need:
    - more people standing on the grass (even in front of the stands);
    - more covers in the main stands (with that metal structure);
    - the commissars' tower;
    - to downgrade the press building (removing some glass panels will go a long way) and... you probably need help! :):)

    Of course, this is a first pass to put the right objects at the right place.
    Then i will focus on textures and materials to make them more life like.
    To be honest, thzt will be far easier for me than the first pass.

    Btw, if someone know better how to make objects from scratch instead of me placing objects taken from other tracks, that would be cool. In fact, not alot of buildings needs to be done but that is still a work.
    Cheers

    Hi all of you.
    I'm pretty proud that i'm now able to create some objects from scratch.
    That's not the most complex one and not the most beautyfull one but as i had no other options to make the clock tower, i needed to learn deeper 3d tools.

    Now, this is my first ever 3d mesh from scratch. I'm just happy . Lol

    Cheers

    At first it seems difficult but once you learn it, it becomes easier and better to work with the tracks and conversions.
