You can give the AI Caddy’s your setup if you name it “daytonarc.svm” and drop it into each teams folder under the Cadillac settings folder. In DPi mode, they’ll be on pace with the Oreca’s, maybe a bit quicker if you leave the Oreca’s on the standard aero package.
We used to do this all the time with GTR2/rF1, but all that stuff like pit windows etc all got shoved to the side by ISI when they first worked on rF2 and never seemed to get back to those item. Thanks!
I have just been trying out this Acura at Sebring. I noticed that there isn't a lot of tyre wear visible in the HUD. I tried both the medium and soft tyres over 10 laps I had just 3% wear. Is this to be expected or is it a bug? I also noticed in the Log analyzer that the Ai's tyres wear really fast, the softs are completely down to 0% after 8 laps. They don't pit for fresh tyres at that point, so I am guessing it may just be an anomaly with how this car interacts with the Log analyzer. Which is something I have noticed with every car I have tried from Advanced Simulation. I can concur that the Acura is faster than the S397 Cadillac. About 2 seconds faster around Sebring. That's with both set as DPi class and the Ai driving both. Apart from those issues I think this mod is great, it looks high quality and drives well.
Acura ARX-05 DPi has been updated today! v2.5 Changelog: - BoP package with S397 Cadillac DPi-V.R. by default - Minor mesh tweaks for better visuals - Fixed base materials for liveries Workshop item: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2047429296
How to make this BoP work? I tried Road America and Road Atlanta and the fastest Acura is 3 secs faster than the fastest Caddy
I 'think' you would have to drive a Caddy and force the DPI at the customize screen before loading the track. Just a guess tho.
