Skip to 9:30 in this video for examples of this happening. All other cars I've tried work just fine here, so just these two so far.

AI cant handle the Radical at Donington, they loose it almost every time at turn 4 - old hairpin.
looks like they brake on the outer kerb.

Am i the only one with a really poor performance on Donnington? The GPU load is twice as high as on Silverstone

No issue for me on Donington national

  8. I encountered a similar problem as the track came out - you can delete "LocalStorage" folder within Userdata\player (I think); this will cause tracks to take a little bit more time to load at first as it is kind of cache directory I think.

@Andregee I think there is a little confusion about your issue with Donington. When you said the GPU load was twice as Silverstone, I think some of the responses focused on the word LOAD. So they thought you were having loading time problems. What I'm assuming your issue really is a drop in framerates compared to Silverstone and/or more of your Vram getting filled up.
I know Silverstone is an updated track, afaik it has all the latest shaders for rain/reflections/horizons etc. But Silverstone is not a laser scanned track. I wonder if you compared Donington(a Laser Scanned track like all S397 DLC) to other laser tracks(Laguna Seca, Brands, Sebring etc) you might see similar results. I've never taken the time to compare updated non laser tracks like Portland or Zandvoort or Indianapolis to compare with Laser scanned circuits.
(sounds like a project for somebody!!!)

It's only Donnington with that high load. In VR i can only compare Gpu load and not the framerate but on the Nordschleife, Sebring Lemans etc i can't notice such high Gpu load. Sonetimes i can't hold the 40fps on Donnington for my Rift S, (Asw is always actice to prevent framedrops)while on other laser tracks it's often possible to hold 80fps

Once you reach the last sector, or iow the pit is in sight, the performance gets a substantial hit in VR.
Even on the backside of the pit.
    So I Also noticed this.
It's a good track to test maximum performance settings this way, but not ideal.

Still thinking maybe the Jumbotrons "Screens" are a great performance hit. Look awfull in VR - would like to deactivate.
