    Does this car have ABS?
I've seen a video driving this car at Nords, the driver breaks hard with the left wheels on the grass a the right wheels on the tarmac and the car goes straight.
Could this be the ABS? Or some issue with the track surfaces?
I'm away from the computer and can't test myself.

Those races with more laps were because of the safety car. They add laps for it.

I didn't feel a very big difference on the FWD, and on the RWD BTCC car tires don't wear out that much.

Bought the two BTCC packs and am very pleased with all of the cars. I haven't been simracing much since the beginning of the year and these hit the sweet spot.

I can't find these BTCC cars in rF2? I bought the full Q3 pack, where are they? I wish they would be grouped together.
If I go to manage content and search they show up but when I try to select them in garage by seaching they are not there.

The Ford is listed under a Ford header, Hyundai also Hyundai. The Mini is hidden under AUSTIN. (which makes me wonder if the future JCW Mini will be listed under BMW. Toyota & Infinity also have their own headers. If you are choosing offline opponents, then all you need to do is choose BTCC as an opponent.

The Infinity has one set of sounds, the Focus/Hyundai/Corolla share the same sounds. I know some cars share a spec engine so is this correct?

Only the Ford has a different engine, but I do not know if it has different sounds.

Ford uses the Mountune, all the others use the same TOCA Swindon engine.

But am I just disappointed enough with this new btcc content? The interiors are practically the same, the sound is the same, probably the physics too .....

If the physics are all the same, it makes it easy to BOP.

FWD vs RWD? Same physics? Many have a shared engine because the BTCC offers a shared engine.

Most of them use the same off the shelf engine, that’s why they sound the same.

I was stupid on Monday, but I don't regret it.
I bought the Q3 pack and the BTCC pack because "what do I do with just the Hyundai (and Ford)? Can't play online anyways"

    mfwit's42€inthecart.jpg

    And bloody hell.
That's the best FWD cars I have ever driven in any game or sim ever.
    They are sooooo good.
I even go as far and say they are better than many RWD cars (mods or official)
The sound, the visual, the FFB, the fun.
    Unbelivable!
I'm hooked and I can just say thank you and good work S397! (although the 42€ still itch a little)

Cars are great, racing is fun, AI is capable so far.

However, what tyres am I supposed to take? For a 25-30 min race, softs are out of questions, hard offer 0 grip but it seems to me that medium don't last a whole race either. Wear is so much it makes unplayable for me.

depends on the track. Donington was mediums with the hard being the only tyre allowed at Thruxton.

But at Knockhill for instance it was mediums but the soft tyre had to be used at one of the three races of the weekend.

But with FWD if you try to lob it in like any other car you are going to ruin the tyres.
