The pit speed limiter is not working if 1) You are driving downhill and/or 2) If you are driving in last gear Hope this can be fixed, just gave me a penalty for speeding in the pits on a flat terrain in Formula Challenge qualifying while i drove with pit speed limiter and 7th gear, car went to 61km/h Thanks
If you turn on the limiter and the gear you're in will be under the idle rpm, then the limiter won't work correctly.
@Risto Kappet speed limiter is a throttle cut, it won't brake for you downhill. And 7th isn't a gear you should be using with it. I guess you didn't test that? No bug here.
This behaviour has been discussed several times. IIRC, it seems that there is a conflict between the speed limiter and the anti stall system. The pit limiter tries to limit the speed but the car can't mantaint that slow speed in long gears. Then acts the anti stall, that increases the speed. This has been in this way from the beginning of rF2.

must be selected and de-selected by the driver only, and only used in the Pit Lane - these regulations are to ensure that it is not used on the track as a crude traction control system. Interesting, I would never have thought of it as a way of cheating.
The override of the pit limiter at low revs is just the engine adding more throttle to maintain idle rpm and stop the engine from dying. This never seems to work perfectly where you maintain idle rpm at every gear, which I assume is accurate for various reasons. Generally you tend to hit anti-stall before that, but if you have auto-clutch enabled you will override the anti-stall.
