When i play rfactor2 in windowed mode on my g9 ultrawide the picture sometimes constantly flickers. So i would like to ask the developers please fix this issue. Thanks, József
YOU WILL BE LUCKY, S397 CANNOT EVEN OPTIMIZE THE SIM. Everyone seems to be having problems some where some how from most things i read.
@Jozsef Gocsik what do you mean by flickering? Is it something you can capture with a video? Your type of screen should have no impact on what the game does.
Agree, so glad you didn't have snipe at me i was just being a bit of a smart ass with my comment, but you have to admit there are a lot of problems with users.
@Jozsef Gocsik I have the LC49G95T and would recommend the following: Make sure you have the monitor's latest firmware installed (the latest one for the model stated was released 04/22) In the advanced display settings make sure the refresh rate is 239.76Hz The use of HDR/Auto HDR in Windows system display settings and Windows system display graphics settings can cause flickering so try turning that off when playing rf2 Hope that helps.
I have a Samsung G9 1440p 49" monitor and its absolutely fine and dandy. If in windowed mode, are you sure there's nothing else in the background trying to take focus?
A way to reduce the problems of other programs taking the focus open your Player.json with a text editor and configure these parameters in this way. "Active Sleep Time":-1, "Inactive Sleep Time":-1, "Pause If Focus Lost":false,
I have same problems occasionally, even in just windows browsing and not just in rF2. HDR off and finding the "black equalizer" setting that flickers least (13 is best for me) helps, but its an unsolved problem regardless of firmware for some specific G9 models unfortunately
Full screen mode (not windowed or borderless, bye bye sim hub radar) and turning of hdr fixed it for me. Just need to sort the random frame spikes now
I can play only windowed mode, because i use g7+g9 monitor combination, runs with simple runtime windowed editor.
So was this, in the end, a software fault of the program? Or the case of an Ultra-rare hardware combination that requires some adjusting of the monitor's settings?
The black equalizer on 17 is better, but far from perfect.I dont have issues like this other games like iracing or acc...
