Hi there, After years of break I rediscovered Rfactor2. The development of the simulation is amazing and I didn't think it would turn out this way. Back when ISI released the RF2, I was totally blown away by the tire/physics model. No other sim felt so real when driving. Unfortunately, the rest of the sim didn't get off the ground, and with the Studio 397 takeover, it was all over, I thought. I am all the more surprised by the current state of affairs. Great go on! But now to my question. Since I want to renew my PC 2022 for RF2, I would like know if the rf2 is planned one of the techniques like DLSS, AFR or Xe SS to implement image/FPS improvements
Dont know if there is another topic about this, but after watching this Youtube video, implementing FSR/DLSS on rFactor2 could be something interesting?
I doubt they will do it for such a small playerbase or if it's even possible with this old game engine. Right now on AMD cards you can turn on RSR in the driver per game. On NV cards you can try the program called Magpie using basically the same algorithm. The fps increase is high but don't expect beautiful results at 1080p. At 1440p it's OK and at 4K it's very good.
