The Toyota Supra DTM 1989 by Tommy78 is here! Facts about the Supra 89: 330 HP / 7200 RPM / 383 NM / 1050 KG without Driver Little aerodynamics, as there is no rear spoiler. This makes this RWD extremely exciting to drive at the limit. This vehicle is unique in the SimRacing genre. Not even AC, for whatever it's available for, has it. That means something. Detailed pictures of this car are a rarity. Tamas then asked me for help in researching with him. There was almost nothing of quality on the www. But in the end, with a little patience, we found what we were looking for. I was happy to be able to support such a talented modder. His next project is already certain. The 1989 Ford Sierra Cosworth DTM! Absolutely awesome! But now we're enjoying a few laps with the DTM 1991 Mod, the Opel GSI and the Supra. I love the touring cars of that golden era.
Formula 1 Season 2022 has landed in rFactor 2 !!! Superb Mod from "Advanced Simulation" Available for free subscription in the Steam Workshop ! See the first look video below !
https://tpongracz.com/shop/rf2-dtm-supra-89/ I greet you my friends. The Toyota Supra DTM 1989 from Tommy78 is here! And the old bowl with the pop up lights is really fun! For me personally, the best vehicle from Tommy78 to date! The vehicle conveys the typical old school feel, on the steering wheel, as well as the pedals... More impressions you get from the video! For all non-German speaking colleagues, never mind, activate the subtitles!
While I generally applaud innovation, I lament to this day the 'innovation' Ken Tyrrel foisted upon F1 with the snooty raised nose. It gave rise to the surfboards of Red Bull & Mclaren, and the dildo-noses of just about eveyone later in the 21st century. Only now are we beginning to see proper nose to the ground designs. So while I AM a Ferrari fan, and I am a Schumacher fan, all those raised snouts just don't cut it.
Finally getting used to proper drifting in rF2. A couple years ago I could barely hold a full throttle slide!
