I’ve got a weird issue going on where all the cars paint are matte looking instead of glossy at Brands Hatch only. It seems to have happened since I ran a wet race there last but I can’t be certain. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t an issue previously. Any ideas?
If there were chrome areas on the car they show as a matt finish, chrome doesn't work correctly at Brands Hatch for some reason. I have noticed it happen other tracks as well.
New PBR skin livery effects such as chrome, requires track mod to have at least one ReflectionMapper=STATIC01 setting, which some mods don't have them (this thing exists long ago, but was not required before game engine updated to PBR).
Ah thanks! We were racing the S397 GT3 cars and all were affected. I'd never noticed it before but once I did, it annoyed the crap out of me. Now I'll probably notice it on other tracks
We used to have 3rd party conflicts with car & track materials with rF1/GTR2. Certain cars, at certain tracks would have a completely black windscreen. Can YOU drive a track from memory??
