    Hi guys,

As i'm working with @doddynco on a collection mod package called "F1 1986 historical Edition."

The history of this mod collection is better explained in this thread
    https://forum.studio-397.com/index....-seasons-pack-historical-demo-released.65848/

Anyway, the (big) work is also about all the tracks from carrer4 totally overhaul by me to make use of PBR effects, puddle maps, AIW path, etc..
This is i think a better place to talk about my work than in the vehicules section.

Here are some pics of what is already done now :
(Adelaide, Imola, Detroit, Spa, Montreal, Jacarepgua, Monaco and Jerez.)

    Hope you like it ;)

Last ut not least, don't forget that the tracks are part of a collection that will in the end represent the complete 1986 season and 1988 season with all the historical details and behavior. Both Ai, cars, sounds, physics, etc..
For the lovers of vintage ere like our, it's something you should look at ;)

    Cheers

The previews look great! Will the updates also come with more grid spots? I seem to remember that being a thing when attempting to do some WEC 1984 races with multi classes.

Hi @Chris Lesperance , that should be feasable but i didnt tried it now. Someone asked for spa 50 cars but thats more tricky, because of a different start finish. Something like night lights i will consider later. There is still 10 tracks to do before... lol

New track Paul Ricard is released !

I've tried my best to match the blue sand dirt thing in the boardings of the 1986 version.
Hope you like this historic detail ;)

New Racegroove and marbles texture for all the tracks.

    Happy driving ;)

Hi, sorry for the late reply but i had some work on my private life these month ;)
Another track is ready for release and i think a lot of people will like it.
I can't talk too much about it for obvious reasons but it's the 9th gp from the season...
I've made a 1986 version. hope you like it. ;)

Note: All credits @philrob for the original cversion.

The cars are in the pipeline.
Just the benetton is done now for us.
@doddynco is still working on the cars and he is busy in private for now.
The goal is to give a very high level mod but it's in our free time only and it takes time of course ;)
    Thanks for the support
    Cheers

GREAT and very good performance in VR - better than your Spa, where I get stutter. Very good athmosphere when going into the shadows in the woods at around 17:00. One thing: the marshals pop up very late at first chicane and second (like 80 meters before the turn) - maybe others too but those I spotted because of the long straights - using VR here btw.
Thank you! AND please don`t forget Österreichring ;-)

@Hazi , didn't know about spa stutter in vr. Anyone have this problem too?
Could help to know where the problem is. Thanks for the feedback.

I will look at that and fix it in the future but for now, i'm totally focus on finishing all the tracks.
Probably a value in ini files or so, but remember these are tracks from rf1 ported to rf2 then again ported in last standards.
Then, talking about VR is a complex thing if you only think about the time passed at studio 397 to simply fix labels lol ;)

The next track on the way is hungaroring and then, österreichring ;)
    Cheers

Thanks again. For Spa: low frames around the hairpin La Source after start and down to Eau Rogue and then around Rivage hairpin down to Pouhon - it is not only your track that has stutter in VR - just wanted to say that Hockenheim runs super smooth with same settings and same amount of cars - great job. Looking forward to ÖRing.
