Release candidate V1.1128 doesn't start

Hi fellow simracers,
stable build is running fine, but the rc is not starting. In steam, it says "rfactor 2 wird ausgeführt" for like 1 sec., and that's it.

Reinstalling rF2 did not help.

+trace=2 does not help, because there is no logfile written.

If I start "Launch rFctor.exe" directliy, Windows brings up an error about "VCRUNTIME140_1.dll" not being found.

Any suggestions? Greetings, Joern

 

1. Download Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 from Microsoft Site and install.

• x86: vc_redist.x86.exe
• x64: vc_redist.x64.exe
