My system: I7 6700HQ | GTX 950M 4GB | 16 GB RAM | Windows 10 | SSD Since i bought the game iv had problems running in the rainwhenever it starts raining my FPS goes from 60FPS + to 27i can run the game pretty stable at 100FPS when its drymy settings are all low https://imgur.com/mmIfAc7 This problem does not happen with open wheeler cars like F3, Indycar etc its actually running pretty smooth 100FPS in rain conditions https://imgur.com/AIr3omX https://imgur.com/qGMzDXZ this problem is getting on my nerves and i can't get into league racing because of this as soon as the rain stop the FPS gets back to normal(with track still wet) which is making it very hard to understand. pls tell me how i can fix this i want to play the game in peace :'( obviosuly buying a better PC is not an option in my case its really frustrating cuz i can run all games with no problem and this dose not seem like a spec problem
[UPDATE] so after more testing it turns out that the HeadLights are causing the problem somehow when AI turns their headlights on the FPS dies something related to lights bouncing on objects or something like that anyways i tried reducing max visible headlights but its not working
You might want to try changing some of these settings in `UserData/player/player.JSON`: "Auto Headlights":true, "Auto Headlights#":"Adds an automatic options and set it to the default setting. Automatically turn on and off headlights dependent on weather conditions.", "Headlights On Cars":true, "Headlights On Cars#":"Headlights illuminate other cars.", "Max Headlights":3, "Max Headlights#":"Max headlights visible relative to your car.", You could try changing "true" to "false", and/or setting max headlights to 0. You should edit this file with the game closed. Reducing the number of visible cars might help too.
Hello, thank you for your reply, i tried reducing Max Headlights to 2 but seems like the game is not applying those changes, i even set the .json file to Read only but seems like steam or idk deleting it and making new one either way these changes are not taking effect
