Hello everyone, I'm dusting off rfactor2 and unfortunately I am facing a problem: pedal calibration. once assigned when I try them I notice that 50% of the accelerator pedal corresponds to 100% of the accelerator in play, the same thing also on the brake pedal, even if less marked, let's say 70% pedal 100% in play. I use a hydraulic pedal with accelerator equipped with a hall sensor. is there any word to change in controller.json to improve the situation? thank you all
You should find on the controls configuration screen that there are three "graphs" for the throttle, brake and clutch. If you press down on the throttle you'll see the effect on the graph. Having pressed the pedal completely down you can then click on the 100% button to recalibrate. The same for the brake pedal.
Try building a tiny bit of deadzone into your brake pedal.(when clicking the MINIMUM button, just add 1 or 2% pedal pressure.) Then center the slider below the brake pedal. & just for clarity, are you holding the throttle down while pressing on MAX?
obviously I press the pedal to the maximum, to no avail. I have now tried to calibrate the minimum no result, at 40/50% I already have 100% accelerator
I also tried to delete controller.json and all userdata folder and redo everything again, the situation does not change
Do the pedals device show up in the Windows > Settings > Devices and Printers? I would expect them to appear if using USB. You should be able to right-click to get to Game Controller Settings. Then Properties and then Settings to calibrate the input from the device to Windows.
yes, i did so, i recalibrated the pedal board from here and then recalibrated in rfactor2, now it works. thanks a lot to everyone
