    @Manfredk2 Does the pit-lane have real road activated? It does not seem to get rubber in it and that would be something that would be visually very nice to have.
    In case it's a performance option, then I would suggest to - some day - bake it in...

    tbh i dont know. I have only minimal skills in that things. In 3Dsimed the material settings for the pitlane look identical to the main road

    Baked in textures would make sense

    @Corti This is why real road in pitlane does not work? I have only blender and dont know how to get this result...

    yes... by the way im packaging. I change real road material for IBL-road.
    give me 5' & i send pm with result for test mate.

    A skin pack does wonders to keep older contents appealing.
    I love the IR18, but the DW12 is no slouch and today I installed this skin back which is superb (it's only missing the new icons to be perfect)... 20220216140533_1.jpg

    I'm workin at the moment to convert the Track by Endres to IBL and also update 3d Objects. The video is abit older at the moment I'm doing the tyre canvases and ads.

    I just want to ask if someone else is doing this? It makes no sense to do work twice.

    I'm slowly progressing because I'm learning 3ds max and modding at the same time so not everything is working at the fist attempt. At the moment I've finshed the IBL Road and Barriers. I have also added the roadlines and as you can see in the video my first try of the arcs.

    I have set many objects meanwhile to iblstandard shader. The mighty Corti did the complete roadsurface and also the curbs in IBL

    maybe they are like the old artists... bohemian & each one with few permanent ties ... although united, surely the results would be great :rolleyes:

    @Manfredk2 I'll send you my ModDev installation of Belle Isle tonight. Maybe we can help each other. As far as I noticed you don't use 3DS Max so my max file is useless for you.

    Finally one of my favorite tracks recieving some love, keep it up guys!

    Just something I noted is that the Green light at the end of pit road is always on (Check how the timer at the top is still off, the red light should be on)

    Also, not sure if that could be done for future updates, the kerb at Turn 5 is lower and closer to the wall in real life, but that requires some 3D job

    whooohoo!!
    Perhaps you should get in touch with the guys working in the refreshing/revamping of the Cartfactor98 mod. PatientRF2fan has been working on Vancouver or Toronto (?) so there might be assets worthwhile sharing side to side.
