The prefix is high on my wishlist.
Earlyer an intuitive and nice interface was very much wanted, an all in a sudden the new UI landed from outer space, and it´s in my opinion very well done. ( After a lot of people for years har praised the fomer new UI for OK, and that wee just should adapt it and learn to work aroun all the issues)

Now I want to hear if anybody at 397 has any thought of making it easyer to start an online race with some friends. I have earlyer had a dedicated server running from the same PC from wich I joined the race running, and it worked, but now I can´t get it to work. I´m not a PC specialist og netguru, and I know lots of people can do the trick, but I have also read quite a lot of threads from people struggling with setting up a race.
I think the way we shall do a mod is easy enough, but putting it online is a pain in my opinion.

In the old rFactor1 days it could be done from inside the game in minutes without any additional setups.
You chose "Host race", picked a track and a car and launch it right away, and could join a few minutes later. :)

Is the any thought from 397 to make this task easyer?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

I agree. In other games I play it's a lot easier. For example with one game I play I just click the Host button, pick level, Invite friend(s). Then in less than a minute we in game playing. It even auto subscribes my friend(s) to the level I have picked. Don't even have to mess with opening ports etc.

DJCruicky, thanks for your comment, thats excactly what I meen. I think it´s OK that one have to match the track and the car to go online, but all the stuff with downloading and installing a dedicated server is a bit hard.
