Custom helmet not showing in Formula Pro car

Hi
I have created a custom helmet for this car.
Its saved as a dds and named appropriately (car is altb, helmet is altbhelmet).
Once a track is loaded I just see the std helmet.

Any tips?

Thanks for that.
It used to work a while back with just the dds files in the loose ski folder.
I'll give it a go , never used mas file before except to make rfmods.
