@Paul Jeffrey Have a race car soundtrack for the UI, which would be as follows : 1) Partnership with "19Bozzy92" (youtube) or an equivalent race car sound recorder and of equally good quality (the quality of these recordings is exceptional, incredibly varied : sound recording place and circumstance, thousands of cars of different type, era and engines, with the sound of birds and reverberation as if we were on the track, etcetera.). 2) Design the UI so that it can read this sound. There would be hundreds or thousands of "micro recordings" corresponding to the passage at the same time of one or more cars. 3) These "micro recordings" would be read automatically as soon as rFactor 2 is started (can be deactivated and modulated in sound volume), and read in a RANDOM way, it is important. They would also be in high quality and in stereo. Thanks for reading me.
Hey @Paul Jeffrey , Can you take a look at this proposal concerning the UI, which would certainly set the rF2 UI apart from all these competitors, and possibly bring it up higher if you find the idea interesting. Personally I imagine it could be really great, but maybe I'm wrong. In any case, it is original!!
Place a Microphone at the s/f of le Mans and record the entire race, just the sounds of the cars & crowd as the cars, at first trickled by, but later as the pack strings out, a more consistent scream, bellow, vacuum hoover sound as the various cars pass by. Let it naturally play whenever you are at a menu.
You can laugh all you want, I'm sure that would be a good idea. Original certainly, but good assuredly.
