    Every time I start the game there is always a failed installing package warning and the game gets stuck there for several minutes. How can I fix this?

    It shows:
    missing virtual cmp ISI_Indianapolis_2013 v1.70;
    missing virtual cmp SRC_Indy500 v17.0330

    Thank you!!! Finally got the problem fixed!!!! I should've asked for help sooner. This issue is killing me for ages!!
    The stuck time is the same in Old and new UI. BTW, the new UI is AWESOME!!!
    And you're right, the problems are all from Rasta's mods. Here are the mods causing the problem on my rF2:

    id=1113759190 BMW 134 JUDD V0.7
    id=2017145643 Nissan_Skyline_R34 V0.5Nissan_Skyline_R34 V0.5
    id=1113771653 Supra Drift V0.8
    id=1131678995 Mitsubishi_EVOIX_TA V1.0

    Another question: What's the difference between "+trace=2" and "+trace=3"? I only use the "+trace=2" in Steam launch options.

    Trace=2 is fine. Higher numbers produce more information generally, but a dev said some time ago that 2 is the highest available in the public builds - so higher numbers will just do the same thing.

    I see you understand each other a lot. I have a similar problem. I drive on GPVWC and download files via SimSync. I have a problem you see in the picture [IMG]

    Have you tried Lazza's suggestions? It did help me to solve this error.

    Steps:
    1. Put "+trace=2" in rFactor 2 launch options in Steam client
    2. Run and quit the game after the error message.
    3. Go to the installed game folder: "rFactor 2/UserData/Log" and look for "trace_<timestamp>.txt" file just created.
    4. Open the txt file in any text viewer you like and search for "Error trying to install" or the missing mod names.
    5. In the lines shown with the error will give the mod ID that causes these errors. It will looks like this:
    ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\365960\<MOD ID>\trackname.rfcmp
    6. For mods in the Steam workshop: Go to "https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=<MOD ID>" and unsubscribe it.
    7. For mods not from Steam workshop: Just uninstall them in the game/launcher.
    (Actually, I didn't really try this because, for me, all the mods causing the problem are from the Steam workshop.)
    8. Remove "+trace=2" in rFactor 2 launch options in Steam client if you don't want to create the trace files anymore.
    9. Done.

    Just like Lazza helps me, I hope this helps anyone.

    BTW, I really hope S397 makes the "Updating Packages" thing runs in the background and show which mod cause the error instead of doing it ourselves manually.

    This is the main problem of rF2, that make people go to other sims.

    It also shows how rFactor 2 players are dedicated to the game at the same time.
    It's all about love, hate and between. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
