Hello @all, I want to buy a gaming-PC for using only RFactor 2. Which configuration would be the best to Play in 1080p or 4K on „Panasonic“-4K TV ? CPU ? GPU ? RAM? Board ? Win 10 or 11? Many thx in advance Stefan
CPU: The one with best single core performance, i5 12th gen (Ryzen 5xxx not much behind). Core count doesn't matter much. In practice, rF2 isn't CPU heavy at all unless you run VR, so a five year old Intel CPU is no problem. GPU: GTX 1660 or similar is enough to run more or less maxed on 1080p unless you add 50 AI cars. 4K is four times more pixels than 1080p, but in practice 4K requires around three times more GPU power. So a 3x better GPU than GTX 1660, which would be something like an RTX 3070 or better. GPU VRAM is also important, minimum 6 GB, 8 GB recommended. RAM: 16 GB is enough if you don't run lots of background applications, otherwise 32 GB. Motherboard: Makes little difference performance wise, check ones that are compatible with CPU and have got good reviews. Win 10/11: Again very similar, Win 11 is more like an evolution to Win 10 rather than revolution.
stonec thank you so much for your quick reply. Do you think this configuration could be optimal: AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700G Mobile Prozessor GeForce RTX 3060 Mainboard: AMD Pro 565 16 GB 3200 MHz
