Good news, it seems a big improvement

    P. S. Modding question: Car icons works well on new ui or they need different format?

Not in this build I'm afraid, but yes, this is an area that has been identified for improvement going forward...

Ah and Paul, will rain racing now be possible with one click?

Can't speak specifically to that question, but I can say that we are using this as a launch pad for wholesale improvements to how players interact with the simulation. The exact makeup of that, in terms of details and timings, has so many dependencies we need to look at how to best communicate plans going forward - which we will, but a little further down the line.

    Excellent News!!!

Is the "Edit AI" button coming back? In the old UI I can create a new "car" and then edit the AI driver skills. Right now I have to switch to the old UI everytime I want to edit an AI Driver.

    @Paul Jeffrey

I was hyped for a moment..

Please don't get me wrong Paul.
I don't want to be the boo man.
    Great design, really beautiful.
But I read and heard exactly these statements at and before the release of the UI 2019.
And that for 2 years +.
    What a pity..
That hurts, I was hoping that these shortcuts would finally upgrade and ease the overall experience.

Well that means for me to keep waiting until indefinitely..

    Still, the design is nice..

If you read the article, it says they will make more changes. I know they said that last time, but maybe this time it's real.

There will be some changes to the system that will affect a small portion of vehicle mods. We'll explain that on release day together with the other release notes. :)

You will find A LOT of improvements to the overall behaviour, placement, movement and location / format of things in the new build. We've worked hard to ensure you need to do less action, to go further in the UI. So simplicity is king here, with natural and intelligent placement of menus and options .

All weather options are on one single page now. If you want to have a specific weather condition you will have to change it for all 5 weather slots, but you can adjust those weather slots from the same page instead of having to go to each different tab for each weather slot. This means 45% less clicks and about 50% less mouse movement.

(there is also still the weather profiles you can select like the current UI has, that affects all weather slots in one go, but further custom options work per weather slot)

Brilliant work. I have watched the video a few times and it all seems so seamless.

I think it looks really fresh, clean and modern.

    So I'm pretty excited :)

However, there looks to be certain things that still need to be added, like how to select specific opponents, and an offline championship builder - which I know is probably a lot of work, but anyone new to rF2 always asks these questions - you've only got to hang around on Reddit or Steam Discussions to know those questions get asked a lot.

Anyway, again, looks very nice, well done
