Hi all. In my community we have a competition that traditionally always starts on an oval circuit, since it is an entry level competition and it is a good way to start because there are usually very different results. The problem is that many times the car chosen for the entire season is not suitable for a Superspeedway-type oval and what I usually do is add an improvement file next to the Skin Pack so that, for that one race, the update file can be modified. "gear" that loads and have a suitable Final Drive for the oval. The problem comes with the ".mas" encrypted files, in this case the Tatuus F-50 that we are going to use. Since I don't see the Gears file, I can't add this mod correctly. Is there any other way to achieve the same thing without knowing the content of the Gears and HDV files? Thank you.
You can try to use an Upgrade like this for the Final Drive HDV= HDV=[DRIVELINE] HDV=FinalDriveRange=(0,0,1) HDV=FinalDriveSetting=0 HDV=FinalDriveSpecial=(0,,,"1000,3500,10,10") and set it up as you like, with another Range and more Options. That normally should work and you don't need a Gear File for that, because the Gear Ratios are set in the Special Options.
