C8.R "regions" not showing on a custom skin pack

    We are currently running in a league that allows each team to run their own skin liveries and these are issued as a skin pack by the league themselves.

    I have noticed that no matter how many times the Corvette C8.R has its region files added to the pack files, it never applies to the car when running the mod.

    In personal skin viewer:

    Now when using the normal "ALT" skins to view and create the liveries in the in-game car viewer, the regions work fine as seen in the first picture.
    But when adding the skin files to a skin pack, the shaders don't apply to the car and a standard white PBR coating is applied as seen in the 2nd picture.

    I have spoken with a well experienced skin pack creator and they mentioned that the base files for the C8.R don't include, or have a faulty BASEMAT file which is preventing the shaders from being applied form the skin pack and therefore loading the default one from S397.

    Help with, or a fix for the above would be appreciated.
