    Hi,
    i am new,
i have bought the base game.
All working fine but when i try to enter in any server of multiplayer,
i get after 1 second the popup :
    An error occurred
    Unable to download mod
Please try to returning to the main menu, or restarting the game.

Tried any server(same version flagged), or removed and redownloaded the game from steam.
Could you suggest me any tips?

    Thanks

Try an "ISR" server.... and see if you see any difference. This may be a server setup issue (which is out of your control) and not your local install problem.

tried also isr server, same situation.
is there a possibility to view the log?
I have the log analyzer but i think it show only the telemetry, not the application log.

    Thanks

As solution : Instead of delete the game folder and do a repair on Steam i have done a uninstall from Steam, manually deleted the game folder and then reinstalled the game.
Note: in my case i have backuped my "UserData" folder inside the game and restored it(copy and paste) in order to keep my old config.

Before you do that, could you check that you have a 'Package' folder in your main rfactor2 folder. If not make one.
My girlfriend had that same problem. We tried everything, and found that folder was missing. We had no idea why it was missing, but worked after making it.
