Well, I have done a short test, half an hour or so, saying that it locks very easily with the brakes with the advance distribution, I have solved it by lowering the braking pressure, but the blocking is excessive, I imagine if the distribution is lowered towards back, I think that is not very good ... on the other hand the car seems to be very interesting, ... I would say that the steering wheel looks a bit small and I don't know if that should be fixed with the virtual reality IPD. What makes the car wider, but I do not know for sure. The best is the scaling of the modeling, as I say I do not know is my impression, I like the sound quite a lot, it is very cool for me, the physics except the braking is a bit oversteer still, but not so bad, it is not something that is not fixed with the setup In configuration I have hardly changed anything, to test it by default, only the brake pressure and the traction mapping control and the fall of the rear tire https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1199736731?filter=archives&sort=time
Really good looking cars, well done!! One thing that I saw is that the dashboard reflects the track painting. But as I dont know anything about modding and creating cars idk if this can be fixed. Physics at work: https://streamable.com/91jejx
ah I forgot to say, the mirrors cannot be adjusted individually ... my criticism is purely constructive .... good job Frederick Alonso and the other moders..Thank you so much i like the mod Could I download the template?
Hey, where did you conjure up the view? I don't have that. Keyboard POS1 looks different, you can't see the filler neck! Yes it should be like that.
The link to the template is on the Steam info page of this car. But you can find them here as well https://frederickalonso.com/Porsche-Cayman-718-Manthey-MR-GT4-CUP.html
Great work as always. Thanks for your time and work you put into this project and of course thanks to all who helped.
Tried it for 60min at Verginia raceway. The default setup is a bit under steering with to much brake bias on the front . I adjusted the brake bias, front ARB and front camber and most of the under steering gone. Fun car to drive, very good sound and great motion telemetry. Thanks
There is a V102 and V103 hotfix coming, today I did a test run and all was fine: Camera positions Working Reverse Gear Upgrade on LOD from cockpit view on hood Mirror resolution (This afternoon I fix this) Fixed fonts and alignment on LCD 4 New sounds on interior (Cosmo was so kind to help me out) Once I have time enough I will upload the hotfix to Steam.
amazing job on the Graphical details of the cars and liveries, no surprise here as I was following the WIP just 2 remarks about the driving maybe if other can comment I have a TS PC Racer and I feel the wheel a bit sluggish, maybe something to do with the spring centering? the other side I noticed is that the car is very very safe. I drive with all in Game assists off, car TC and SC Off as well and I have not spin out a single time in the 1Hr I had to play last night Again, no criticism whatsoever, just things I have noticed maybe other users have as well but again, great job and thanks so much sharing to the RF2 community!
