Wheel drivers/firmware could be one more thing to check if latest are installed. The boot during ESC thing could potentially relate to something with the wheel as it's the moment when FFB resets. Perhaps try plug the wheel in a different type of USB port (front/rear, USB 2/3).

Final thing I could think of is the power supply, what is the manufacturer and rated watts? Games might all stress the system in a slightly different way, so even if a benchmark makes it through, it could be that a game at a given moment stresses the CPU and GPU total more.

    Hi there,

after I wasn't able to find anything that would stop the issue from happening, I decided to do clean install of rF2. Issue was gone, for about 4 months now, only to happen again yesterday. Computer rebooted either as soon as I got to cockpit (4x) or after 1 lap (1x). When this was happening, every reboot I turned off different plugins (CrewChief, SimHub, etc.) and also tried to plug wheel and pedals into different USB ports.

As soon as rebooting stopped, my rF2 wheel settings (calibration, buttons mapping) disapeared. No idea what was going on.
My power supply is 1.000 W, will try to change it, just to be sure.

I had also the same problem with BF5 on ultra.
My PC would just go out and restart after some time playing.
Had no problems with other games (rf2 included)
After some testing I found out it was my power supply.
New PS and the problem is gone.
    It's 100% a hardware issue.

    Yeah,

I allready ordered new PS, will see what happens.
    Interesting things though:
    - happens only in rF2 (not ACC, not RaceRoom)
    - been running FurMark under full GPU load for 1 hour, nothing happened. Temperatures normal, FPS 109 average. If PS was bad, should give up during 1 hr of that, should not?

    It's a computer. Don't trust logic.

Pretty normal for an rF2 crash to corrupt the json files occasionally, probably something along those lines.
