How do I set FOV so that it won't default to 33 degrees? I recently changed my FOV to 51 degrees but when I restart rF2 it has defaulted back.

    "Vertical FOV Degrees" in player.json

I checked player.json after your reply and it was set to 51. Today when I start up it has reverted to 33. I feel this must be another glitch related to sound and exaggerated yaw perhaps?

You need to make the change to the json and save it without the game running.

@"Phil" can you show a screenshot of your graphics and display settings? And what's your setup? (single screen 1080p? 4k? Triples?)

I did try saving to player.json outside of the game but it has reverted again.

Same here. I have FOV 45 in json, but every time I enter the track I have to adjust manually back to 45 otherwise it starts with FOV 1. No fun at all. Any idea meanwhile? @"Phil" have you already managed to solve the issue?

It seems to have resolved itself, but it is pretty random, so it could show up again

It doesn't move the camera. 51 isn't unusual for a screen.

My FOV sometimes reverts to 42 (I run 26). Today I was on track, pressed "-" to go car behind for a second, then "+" to go back to my car and my fov changed to 42 again. I've seen occasions where FOV was set to 8 in the menu but was actually some completely different value on track.

Yes as Lazza says it doesn't change your seat position. The screen is roughly 22" from my eyes.
