Jump form warmup (day) to race (night) at sebring, and press drive to go to the grid, all textures are bright like while for some seconds, like overexposure or just lighting problem, then back to normal. screens attached, compare bugged and normal
PS: what's more it's not only sebring, all pbr tracks seems have this while quick changing day to night between session, and in devmod weather changing time to night also causing this
That's auto-exposure (a form of post-processing) that is working on the image and takes a while to adjust. Basically it reacts with a slight lag to a change of light condition, much like a camera or humans eyes would when moving from a dark room into daylight or vice versa. If it would react instantly, it would cause very weird looking transitions when you move the camera for example from a dark cockpit into a brighter place.
if it is due to auto exposure, then there is a problem with transition, as the exact moment the "bright lighting" turns back to normal lighting is "instant" , there is no transition when changes.
I think it's IBL issue on texture, and if about autoexposure, on the car it's the same brightness so.... I think it's track IBL related
