Hey Corti, I have a problem with plugin. When xml exist, i can't launch exe. There is an error. How can store data on XML so ?
Check the configuration Remember that if you have several servers each must bring a different UID. I install an independent version of Weatherplugin on each dedicated server
Still the same and the problem is only since v1.14. I just tried it with v1.13 and it launches without any problem. The only problem is that there is no Climacell_v4
I see. I think I never activated it, I'll try today. Btw ... i can't get v4 to work on the latest version either
If your system does not support the tls security required by cc, it will not work. You must install the win update for required tls encryption. A stock win10 system does support it obviously. Also I got this info from cc: "He can look at the certificate from a browser or postman. What I'm guessing is that he needs to update his CA certificates - we use godaddy."
Hi Stefan Our Climacell V4 keys support only 500 calls/day. It seems that it isn't enough to finish the day. Could be possible to have the amount of calls configured in any place to avoid to reach the limit? Thanks
24*(60/3) = 480 call/day But you are right, I will add a param probably next time. OpenWeatherMap has a new call that looks promising too. I recently checked weatherbit, but while it looks promising, I found that calls for 20+ minutes were based on same observer time - so the update rate for new data is very slow even if you can poll it every 3 minutes. This is a knockout criterium.
Yes. You are right. I don't kno why we reached the limit. In any case it would be iseful. Thank you very much. I'm going to take a look to OpenWeatherMap, because y took some keys in the past there
Hi! I got a question concerning the rain probability with the API climacell V4. What is real purpose of this parameter in the plugin? We made a server with Spa Francorchamps during the F1 weekend. We did have rain with it was only a probability of 30% (despite the live TV showing a real shower on track). After each call (every 3 minutes if I remember well) we had a low probability to have 20% of rain. So on our server, the weather kept changing regulary between strong rain and nothing. Did you add this probability to avoid a "flooded" racetrack or for something else? Can we disable the probablity and just use the live rain data ? Thanks!
The probababillity is a trigger, indeed. I started to use this allready for darksky. Above 75% you should get rain, below 25% no rain. Between its a probabillity trigger. Random, with increasing probabillity towards 75%. And without it, you would get rain much more often. The API has no rain gauge. It evaluates rain radar, cloud radar, something like this. Its not based on a real weather station if you ask me. There are not every 100m in real word weather stations with rain gauges for exact measurement. So the API counts "virtual" rain or calculates a virtual rain "rate", but it is saying not sure whether this actually really happening as rain on ground. Furthermore there is a threshold for rainrate, if exeeding a threshold you get rain. I once witnessed a heavy wide shower in the rainforest on the radar, with >25mm/sec rain (pretty much) and the probabilltiy was only 40% - does not make sense sometimes what API reports. If you say 20% triggered rain i might have to check something - but maybe threshold was exceeded
