Not working for me either, but a different issue. The program opens, but when the 'Export' button is clicked, the program crashes and shuts down without producing any file.
Any update on this? I've applied the new IBL/PBR Shader to a few cars now and I can really see why it's needed. Cars without the alpha channel have little white spots on the edges. In the mean time, are there any quick/easy alternatives for AO baking of GMT files? (not 3DSMax)
I would assume nothing will open gmt files, except for the game, so you would have to convert them first, and you would probably have to use 3ds max for that. I use substance painter to bake my stuff, I like it better than max.
Cool thanks for this, I will look into it as I can convert with 3DSimEd. I'm wondering if the link for the Edge Baker tool should be removed from the Dev Guide if there's no intention to fix it?
It still doesn't work for me either, installed win10, installed that graphic tools stuff, still a full white image as output also using a Tatuus body for testing.
It's still not working for me also. It is always failed to launch. I making double click and nothing happens. Win 10, installed graphic tools. I tried on my PC and laptop. Same result.
I know it don't helps others, but just to report it. Here it works with no Problems. I've downloaded the 2 Files UI.exe and Baker.dll, put them in an own Folder, start the UI.exe, select the gmt, entered the Output Path/Texture, set Threshold 0, Contrast 5 and Resolution 4096 and click Export. And i get the Texture created. (No additional Software like Gametools installed)
For me its not working, too. Even installing Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6.1 doesnt fixed it. UI.exe is closing (crashing) without creating any png. Just want to know, if there is anything new on that issue. I tested it so far on 3 different machines without any luck. Here it still works. Maybe you need more patience? When i click "Export", i don't see a reaction, but the tool starts to work but behaves as if it wouldn't work anymore and i also get "no response" shown. But after a while it finishes working and the texture gets created. Maybe you just have to wait a longer while?
