Before this new UI thing, I made and ran a bunch of LAN servers no problem using the built in tools (MAS2.exe, etc.) Now all the tools for running the servers are gone.

How do I make and start a non dedicated LAN server using all my pre-configured servers that I spent days setting up and are now all gone? Without all the Steam crap and CMD line garbage.

    Thx.

Those are the session build tools Wood. I found them too. Re-read
my post. I want the program that starts the LAN server.

    This thing:
    rf2server.png

Show me where this is. It used to start by clicking the globe
icon thingy at the bottom left of the old interface, IIRC.

@x2611 You can start it by using a Shortcut to the rFactor2 Dedicated.exe, that you can find in the Folder
    ..\rFactor 2\Bin64
The only Thing you have to do after you did create the Shortcut, is to rightclick on it, select Properties and delete \Bin64 in the Field "Execute in".
Then save it and doubleclick on the Shortcut to start the Server.

x26.... another tool to help: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/rf2-server-manager.47729/

It will help choose profiles, make shortcuts, change ports without delving into files.

Nothing has disappeared. All files pre-new UI still exist and are accessible in the same way as before.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

This is exactly what I wanted. They should include this shortcut with the install!!
I was pulling my hair out getting this to run. Tried every combination of shortcut and
    path except this one.

    Cheers.

Yes, the Question is, why it wasn't integrated into the new UI.
1 Line of Code and 1 Icon would have been enough.
