Where did you get a https Link for my Tools Website from? I use the "free" package from bplaced, which doesn't include https and i don't want to pay for an own Certificate, to be honest. As a User of the Tools Website, you don't have to enter any sensitive personal Data, so an Encryption is not necessary in my Opinion. And as long as it works with http, it will stay as it is.
Last firefox have a setting where he automaticly turn on https on each web site you visit. In your web site a error 404 happen with the setting on after a security check like corti show.
Just to inform you: the Tool, with that you can generate Steering Entries for the HDV and Upgrades.ini, is offline. I have to check it, because it doesn't work properly anymore. And to repeat myself: please report any Problems with the Tools. Thank you
The Tool to generate Steering Entries is online again. The Problem was again caused by the Switch from php 5 to php 7, that i have made some Time ago. It is a bit strange, because php 7 handles some Values in a different Way and i don't know why, yet. So, please , if you notice that a Tool doesn't work properly and/or gives you strange Results, inform me here or directly, with the eMail Adress from the Tools main Site. Thank you
Just as an Information. @Juergen-BY reported a Problem (thanks for reporting ) with the Tool "Modify Mass and longitudinal Center of Gravity of an existing rF2 Car", where the Mass and Inertia of the front and rear Subbody in the Chassis.ini are not replaced properly, when they have the exact same Values in the uploaded Chassis.ini File and where the cgrear was changed to something different than 0.5, with the Tool. That Problem is fixed now. Please recheck Cars, that you did modify with that Tool and where that was the Case. Sorry for the Inconveniences.
Hi Chris, I have a question about horsepower figures in relation to rF2 and your online tools. I know you report torque as NM but then the power output is listed as HP. Is that the American HP or the EuroHP? So if I had engine specs from an American site, I either would, or would not have to convert the number to set as a peak power result?
