Could it be post effects set too high

 

That is a full-on God Ray beginning. The Sun set low over the horizon washes out a-lot of your colors. The graphic engine is doing what it is supposed to do, just a matter of deciding if it's too much. There might be another setting, other than PP, that determines how diverse the Sun's rays scatter when filtering through horizons/trees/grandstands etc.

 

Now sorted, changed a few setting, but cant remember which one did the trick

 

think harder I also want to change it
