Hello, I have a question about the Splatter Map Generator.

In documentation a section called "base pattern" is mentioned, which if I have not misunderstood, can be used to create a distribution of the textures on the map based on that pattern.

The point is that within Substance, the entry "Pattern" does not exist, therefore it is not possible to create that pattern. Is that so or am I doing something wrong?

So what I have done so far is paint directly on the resulting map to make a certain texture appear in specific areas. Is there any other better way to do it, any advice on that?

    Thanks.

The pattern input is an optional grey scale input used to increase the chances of different maps occuring. Typically we use it by baking sat ref out to the uvw used on the splatter map and then adjusting that output into grey scale to signify the greener and less green areas of terrain

Understood, I just realized that it can be activated to bring up the option.

    Thanks.
