    Hello,
Since I reinstalled RFactor (on a Samsung Evo 870 drive G SSD) I only have problems.
Not bugs in use but in launch. And regularly, Steam asks me to reinstall the game.
    Already 3 times that I reinstall ...

Before each start of the game I have to check the local files otherwise Steam blocks Windows altogether, which refuses to shut down.

What is going on and how do I know what is going on?
    Thank you for your help.

This is not something we control, it looks like a Steam issue if it's asking you to re-install suddenly.

    Is the folder _really_ gone?

No, the folder was present. Apparently complete. This is why I do not understand.
    Besides, my SSD is internal.

    Could be a permissions problem?
    Try executing Steam as admin.
Could you explain this "Steam blocks Windows altogether"?

Yes, I have run Steam as Admin already. It doesn't change anything.
    Thank you

be warned about running steam or any other application as an admin. It often has little or no effect, but often opens the gate for major security issues. One exploit in steams browser engine, and your data is a toaster.

You could also check if your steam installation lost the library entry or just open up a separete folder as a new library. Must be something related to steams index service then.

    Hello,
I think I have found the reason for the continual reinstallation of RFactor2.
In fact, it looks like Steam is having an issue with installing a Mod.
However, I cannot find which one. I have unsubscribed from several Mods in an attempt to clarify the problem but I am unable to do so. (see attached image)
Do you have an idea ?
    Thank you. IMG_20210620_195206_resized_20210621_014826384.jpg
