Hi All I have received a set of Oculus Quest 2 glasses for Xmas. Can someone help me set them up. I have set up the Steam VR etc, gone to the Video set-up in rf2 and changed VR to HMD but when I try to launch the game it crashes after getting this pop up; 'rFactor 2 will launch into an environment in your VR HMD as well as on your desktop. Performance may not be acceptable in this mode.' Any ideas on the best settings for a Quest 2 to get it running. My Gaphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 so feel like this shouldn't be an issue. VR is working with AC, ACC, PC2. Never had VR before so a bit out of my depth. Any help would be very much appreciated.
I recommend that you try those of you who have Oculus quest 2 put television or monitor at a resolution of 3800 * 2080 and try rfactor2 to the same. I had it at 1080p suffering with an rtx 2060 ti. try it please. you will say.
