Im glad you enjoy it guys, its my first ..release shoud i say?... in rF2 so there will be things to solve, sorry about that. Just to make it clear this is fully PlickBadgers mod, i only made the cockpit graphics.. or 95% of it. Yes the Mirrors do sorta bug out when not on Full Player detail settings, we will fix that with PlickBadger with upcoming "bug fixing" updates. It is question of making the mirror shading on only on MAX settings and the problem will literally disapear when not on FULL settings so thats just little .gen file change
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm in Cancun until tomorrow evening. I'll start working on a bug release when I get home. MikeeCZ - this is just as much your mod as it is mine. You've really made a huge contribution and I know the entire modding community sincerely appreciates it.
Hmmm, with it's ability to be run CW or CCW, Hallett would make a great addition to rF2!!!!!!!! I bet licensing would be cheap, too (hint ISI).
It's on my rf2 track conversion/creation list It was part of the reason I wanted to go up there. I just don't have enough time to do all the things I want as quickly as I'd like to.
v 1.32 pending validation from Mikee. Then I'll be releasing the SuperCharged versions directly afterwards v1.32 changelog mirror LOD fixed for non-max viewing - black line issue gauges color darkened gauges viewable externally cockpit leather texture fixed headlights no longer flicker lods on wheels fixed - no more glowing minor graphic glitches cleaned up
Well, the build 1.32 of this thread will be the base for the further improvements to the last rF2 code and features under full permission of the authors... it is probable I'll need to open another thread in the future to be able to add new build into the first post. As soon as I'll finish some pending update to other mods, I'll be pleased to work on this awesome mod. Thank you.
Hey Slow Motion, I saw you had released a few other updates to your mods. Just wondering if this one is one of the next ones It's SCCA June Sprints weekend at Road America, where there will be a quite a few of these things running around. The SCCA Rulebook has some additional technical details that may be helpful https://www.scca.com/pages/cars-and-rules
Thanks for the info! And about the wip mods, next week Chris will start working on pending items of our todo list. In the meantime I was asked for releasing a full season update to one of our mods, so Leonardo and I will paint skins and helmets, but I'll post later about it when things we'll be better planned.
