Thanks for this great mod and the new update. The Alba is great fun to drive. Great physics for this car. Fantastic Job Guys!
At this point I would like to thank you for the great work that this modding team and all those involved and supporters have done lately. Many thanks to you guys, you are great !
Also from me a big thank you for the wonderful work that has been done here. I am already looking forward to the next vehicles to come. Keep it up now.
Both BMW M1 & Porsche 930 mods have been updated on steam to 1.10 version. Thanks to [ODS]Aurelien, we have now 3 new rally BMW M1 skins (in Bonus section). Common changelog: ***Physics*** -Fuel consumption decreased, now based on real data from 1984 24h race. -AI rebalanced. ***Sounds*** -Horn sounds added. -Engine starter volume increased. -Brakes hiss & backfire volume decreased. ***Graphics*** -Windows textures upscaled. -TVcockpit camera corrected. BMW M1 specific changelog: position of gauges glass corrected. Porsche 930 - 934 - 934/5 specific changelog - New physics because of: -fuel tank position corrected (bug was already in rf1) . -forces related to torque distribution corrected (my mistake!). -brakes cooling slightly increased. -default setup is changed.
Some news: Mazda 727C is now 99% converted. Physics are on v1.0 state and I just need to balance the sounds for the car to be ready for steam. Now, I need to work on Lola T616 physics. Engine is ready as they both share the same one, that's a good point. But Lola was using radial Goodrich tyres so this area could take a lot of times as it will be the first time I'm working on those kind of tyres. I hope those 2 new converted cars will be available on steam in beginning of june. One year ago, we have made the switch between old shaders and new IBL/PBR ones. Some of you have noticed, that move introduced some flaws concering pre-baked ambient occlusion in the skin liveries. The good news is that I have find yesterday a solution in gimp to reduce this pre-baked AO without altering too much other area of the skin. I still have to apply it on all the skins of the mod, it will take a lot of times. But you can see on those pictures that it's worth it. Preview1 - Preview2
Alba AR2, Rondeau M379, BMW M1 & Porsche 930 have been updated with version 1.50 on steam. The main change is the pre-baked ambient occlusion which has been reduced. old build up / new ambient occlusion below old build up / new ambient occlusion below Templates for Alba AR2 & Rondeau M379 are now available at the first post of this topic. There is also one forgotten skin added to Rondeau M379 and one brand new Porsche 934 skin made by Donat Prodan from RaceDepartment. New ambient occlusion and upscaled windows for Porsche 956, Lancia LC2 & Jaguar XJR-5 are for a futur update (during summer?). But before we'll release our last 2 cars in few days: Mazda 727 & Lola T616.
