My rF2 tries to install Porsche_991RSR_GTE_2017 everytime I load the game, but I have no DLC bought. Download 2.60 and fails 2.61. Lots of "2.60" folders: 2.60 (1), 2.60 (2), etc... No clues how to solve this...
You 'may' have tried to join an online session that required the Porsche. You might be able to locate that in the packages screen or using mod-manager to look for a track/mod that used the car. Good Luck.
Thanks, I guess the problem must be somewhere around that (I remember trying to join a server where that car was required), but no joy. No reds om mod-manager, no way to search,... My love/hate relationship with rF2 endures: We cannot see what cars are required before joining a server (why?) We cannot see what cause that installation in first place (why not showing a message?) We cannot avoid rF2 from trying to install over and over again a DLC I didn't bought So many small things, so annoying.
None to be found. I also delete Porsche_991RSR_GTE_2017 directory, and then check ModMgr again to be if something comes red (missing). Saw nothing. Something remained after that atempt to join a server with that car...
Open your ..\rFactor 2\Bin64\ModMgr.exe Check that the Working dir is ..\rFactor 2 Check the Viewing: Mods checkbox Uncheck the Viewing: Components checkbox Cilck on every mod of the list and see the dependencies in the list of the right/bottom. Good luck
If it keeps trying to install it everytime you launch the game means that its a workshop item. If a rfmod failed to install when joining a server, it won't try to install it during game launches as far as I know. Check your workshop folder. Its in your steam folder somewhere, "steamapps/workshop/content/365960/", and use windows search to find the porsche. If you find the porsche file, check the name/nr of the folder. This nr is the id of the workshop item. You can then find this workshop item by going to the following site: "https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1772394840", in which you replace the long number with the number you found. This should show you the workshop item, and then you can unsubscribe.
@lagg Thanks for the sugestion. No luck there. @Kevin van Dooren Thanks! Found the culprit : 1411394979 - Unsubcribed, done!
